Public records maintained by the Alfred E. Alquist Seismic Safety Commission (SSC) are available for public review during regular business hours. If records aren’t immediately available, SSC may need time to locate and review them.
To submit a Public Records Act request, or to ask a question, please email InfoSSC@caloes.ca.gov.
Clearly describe the records you are requesting.
Include enough information to help us identify and locate the records.
Written requests are preferred and help us respond more efficiently.
Records are available for review at SSC offices during business hours. Larger requests may require a scheduled time. All materials must remain on-site and may be reviewed with staff present.
Some records may require review to remove confidential or exempt information, which may affect response time.
Public records are protected by law. Removing, altering, or destroying records is prohibited and may result in penalties under California law.
